Prep

​​Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education.

From 2017, it is compulsory for Queensland children to undertake Prep prior to Year 1.

Children are eligible to attend Prep when they have turned 4 years of age on or before June 30 in the year prior to commencing Prep.

We are currently taking all enrolments: no waiting list

Steps for enrolling in Prep:

1. Email or phone to make enrolment meeting and tour
2. Print and complete all forms on the: Enrolling at our school page
3. Attend parent information session
4. Sign up for ‘Step Up Into Prep’ (Term 4, 2 hours a week for 8 weeks) Free program available for all kindy aged children attending: Mt Gravatt East SS the following year. Adult must be in attendance.
5. Notify us if you require interpreter, support or other agencies in attendance.
